 Greenback

The best Jazz/Folk/Country/Blues band in the Bristol area (if only because we are the only one we know of).

Formed in March 2007 by a group of loosely like minded individuals to play music that we enjoy, Greenback provide an eclectic yet sophisticated evening entertainment. With influences ranging from Seth Lakeman to Amy Winehouse via the Dixie Chicks and Kirsty McColl, Greenback offers something for everyone on an evening out, one thing you can never say about Greenback is that they are staid, or rooted in on Genre.

When guitarist Alastair Sneddon announces that their 'very poorly' singer would now take the stage, the audience mentally prepares itself for half an hour of coughing, wheezing and endless apologies from Greenback's temporarily bronchially-challenged singer Mandi Baigent.
