Greenback Adverts

 Greenback

The best Jazz/Folk/Country/Blues band in the Bristol area (if only because we are the only one we know of).

Formed in March 2007 by a group of loosely like minded individuals to play music that we enjoy, Greenback provide an eclectic yet sophisticated evening entertainment. With influences ranging from Seth Lakeman to Amy Winehouse via the Dixie Chicks and Kirsty McColl, Greenback offers something for everyone on an evening out, one thing you can never say about Greenback is that they are staid, or rooted in on Genre.

Gigging - Pubs & Clubs

 Alastair Sneddon | 28/11/2008 at 15:13

I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to get gigs without presenting yourself and a CD at a venue, and pestering to speak to a manager. Venues are worse and often wont talk to you or answer your e-mails. OK so we have a promoter in Swindon... do we need to get one in Bristol, but that means that they will take a cut!

It seems almost that places are happier to have the same old Kareoke each week as opposed to somthing intersting.....I think im going to get ranting again..

grr.
